Standard 7. Students and Graduates Goal. Per the Standard, “The program must provide assurance that the educational needs of students are met and that graduates demonstrate at least the AHIMA entry-level curriculum competencies”. The program has provided a goal and an action plan; further work recommended to clarify/strengthen the goal and the stated measurable outcomes for students and graduates consistent with the Standard.
Standard 24. The Curriculum. Course syllabi must demonstrate learning progression to achieve the required entry-level curriculum competencies. Examples of revised assignments submitted in response to the Site Visit Report appear appropriate and reflect significant work to address content and taxonomic levels; however, it is unclear how these assignments fit into individual course syllabi and when implementation of revisions has been accomplished or is planned.
