May 2022 Accreditation Action: Grant seven years of Continuing Accreditation with a Progress Report. The program remains non-compliant with the following 2018 Standard:

Standard 3. Program Effectiveness Measures. Program Evaluation Plan – Curriculum Goal is still using the RHIT Exam Results as a Step to Achieve – “The HIMT program director will monitor curriculum effectiveness by analyzing the RHIT Exam School report results as a guide for program and curriculum improvements.” Results state “During the 08/01/2019-07/31/2020 academic year, only four students attempted the exam for the first time. The HIMT program team reviewed the scores of the four exams: 3 out of 4 students passed the exam on their first attempt for a 75% pass rate for first time test takers. As a whole, it was also determined that the mean domain scores for Cuyahoga Community College four graduates were at or above the national averages.”
There is still an issue with this Target Outcome/Steps to Achieve/Results for both the Curriculum and students/Graduates Goal.
