Standard 10. Faculty. A month after the CAHIIM site visit, a newly hired full-time faculty member resigned from the HIT program (Sept 2021). This leaves the HIT program with not enough program faculty to support the program. The full-time HIT faculty position was immediately reposted through the College’s program review process.
Standard 16. Financial Support. The program responded with a plan of correction for financial support of faculty professional development ($10,000) and marketing funds ($1200) for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Standard 17. Student Program Progression. No communication plan was submitted or an example of how a student is advised and the documentation that is kept.
