Accreditation Actions

November 2016 Accreditation Action: Accept the Progress Report.

Rationale: The program is compliant with all Standards.

Accreditation Award: Continuing Accreditation.

April 2016 Accreditation Action: Grant ten years of Continuing Accreditation with a Progress Report. The program remains non-compliant with the following Accreditation Standards:
The following Standards are Partially Met:
Standard 18. Professional Development. The program response states that Prof. Hill’s professional development plan was uploaded, but it does not appear in this standard or in the uploads tab.
Standard 24. The Curriculum. While the program has responded with examples of activities and assignments uploaded under standard #26, these will require a more extensive review and the corresponding syllabi must be highlighted to demonstrate where each of these new activities occur within the class schedule when implemented and the course is actually offered.
Standard 26. Curriculum Syllabi and Competencies. A number of assignments and revisions have been provided in the program response, many of which are to be implemented in spring 2016 or later courses when offered. Syllabi have been provided but the program must highlight in yellow within the revised syllabi, where the new activities, assignments or projects have been added for final consideration.
Standard 27. Curriculum Evaluation. While some assignments have been created at the required taxonomy levels, some are still not reflective of the required levels for compliance. Test questions were found to be at a lower level of evaluation.
