Accreditation Actions

July 2020 Accreditation Action: Accept the Progress Report.

Rationale: The program is compliant with all Standards.

Accreditation Award: Continuing Accreditation

December 2019 Accreditation Action: Grant 10 years of Initial Accreditation with a Progress Report. The program remains non-compliant with the following Standards:
The following Standards are Partially Met:
Standard 4. Program Goals. New PEP provided (see Standard 9). PEP needs to be updated once standards 6, 9, and 11 are met and implemented. Goals need to be revised and implemented, and PEP updated to reflect such.
Standard 6. Faculty Development Goal. Although goal has been added, it does not specify that faculty development needs to be in the area that they teach. The faculty must stay current in the areas in which they teach.
Standard 9. Advisory Community Requirement Goal. Meeting minutes and new goal provided. Results of the new goal will be presented to the advisory committee in 2020. There is no documentation to support that the results of the new goal have been shared with the advisory committee.
Standard 11. Monitor Assessment Results. Plan for reporting and review of program targets and measures is in place, but needs to be reviewed at the next advisory committee meeting.  Measurements must be monitored/reviewed by advisory committee or college administration.
