September 2024 Accreditation Action: Grant seven years of Initial Accreditation with a Progress Report. The program remains non-compliant with the following Standard:

Standard 12. Program-Specific Curriculum. There are foundational domains where defined foundational competency is not sufficiently demonstrated within required core courses in the curriculum. The program submitted an action plan that addressed the realignment of, and/or addition of curriculum content and assessments to meet the required competency domains where deficiencies have been identified. To address deficiencies in FD 9, the submitted action plan includes implementation of structured inter-professional activities to foster student network skills with other professionals in the core course ME.250.860 Student Seminar and Grand Rounds in Fall quarter of 2024. To address deficiencies in FD 10, the submitted action plan includes inclusion of several team-based project activities in ME.250.750 Design Discovery for Health Care course in Spring quarter of 2025.
