Accreditation Actions

July 2020 Accreditation Action: Accept the Progress Report.

Rationale: The program is compliant with all Standards.

Accreditation Award: Continuing Accreditation.

March 2020 Accreditation Action: Grant seven years of Continuing Accreditation with a Progress Report. The program remains non-compliant with the following Standards:
The following Standards are Partially Met:
Standard 4. Program Goals. See specific notes in Program Goal Standards 6, and 9 which address remaining deficiencies.
Standard 6. Faculty Development Goal. Outcome #3 still needs revision.  If 100% of faculty are required to attend two professional development workshops per year, then the result is incorrect.  Faculty attended only one workshop each year. Thus, only 50% of target outcome was met. Either the target outcome needs to be revised or the results, analysis and action section should address how the program will meet the target. Outcomes #2 and #3 both lack the designation of the person responsible and time frame.
Standard 9. Advisory Community Requirement Goal. Target outcome #1 still lacks clarification of the results, analysis and action. The results should specify the four courses that were reviewed. In addition, a statement regarding whether the target was met should be documented. The statement about “no new trends” appears to be related to outcome #2.
Standard 24. The Curriculum. There are twenty curriculum competencies that are partially met. Fourteen require implementation and six others need to be revised and submitted.  There are four competencies that remain unmet and require an assignment to be in compliance with this Standard.
