Standard 9. Advisory Community Requirement Goal. There has not been advisory board involvement in curriculum and feedback to the program. Program director stated she has low to no attendance at advisory board meetings.
Standard 18. Professional Development. Professional development is lacking in the curriculum content areas for the faculty.
Standard 24. The Curriculum. The curriculum syllabi and course content must ensure concise and adequate coverage of the AHIMA HIM entry-level curriculum competencies and taxonomy level for associate degree programs. There are 21 PM or NM competencies that have been addressed in the program response. One competency, VI.K.1 remains unmet based on an assignment that is unrelated to the competency.
