Standard 24. The Curriculum. The Program has provided an action plan as to how it will address new activities for the competencies identified as not meeting the taxonomic lev els stipulated in the Curriculum Findings Report. The Program must also ensure that within the action plan, they incorporate all of the 2014 curriculum competencies within the full curriculum by the August 1, 2017 deadline.
Standard 26. Curriculum Syllabi and Competencies. The Program is reviewing and revising all course syllabi to reflect the 2014 competencies as well as the deficiencies cited in standard #24.
Standard 28. Professional Practice Experiences. The Program plans to address the issue of onsite practicum placements for Spring and Summer 2017 terms. A PPE Coordinator position has been posted. The PPE guide will be updated and revised. The coordinator will develop and execute a plan to receive and maintain evaluations and practicum logs. The coordinator will change the practicum letters as needed to develop an early site selection by students.
