February 2021 Accreditation Action: Accept the Progress Report.
Rationale: The program is compliant with all Standards.
Accreditation Award: Continuing Accreditation.

July 2020 Accreditation Action: Grant seven years of Continuing Accreditation with a Progress Report. The program remains non-compliant with the following 2018 Standards:
Standard 5. Curriculum Goal. The revised target outcome #2 does not have anything to do with the curriculum.  Per site team, “this can be a general program goal but curriculum goal should be based on ways to improve, adjust, or evaluate the current curriculum in place.
Standard 24. The Curriculum. The curriculum syllabi and course content must ensure concise and adequate coverage of the AHIMA HIM entry-level curriculum competencies and taxonomy level for baccalaureate degree programs. The following competencies remain partially met until assignments have been implemented: I.C.2, II.B.1, II., II.B.2, II.C.1, III.A.1, III.A.2, III.A.3, III.A.4, III.A.5, III.A.6  III.E.1, III.F.1, III.G.1, IV.A.1, IV.A.3, IV.A.4, V.A.1,VI.A.1, VI.A.2, VI.A.4, VI.B.1, VI.C.1, VI.C.2, VI.D.1, VI.D.2, VI.D.4,, VI.D.6, VI.E.1, VI.F.4, VI.F.5, VI.F.6, VI.F.7, VI.G.2, VI.G.3, VI.H.3.
Standard 27. Curriculum Evaluation. Many competencies have new evaluation methodologies (tests, exams, projects, assignments) to test different cognitive levels. This evaluation methodologies must be implemented.
