The Tableau assignment also is a good one but does not demonstrate the use of managing data in a database system. As with III.6, students should be exposed to either Access or SQL to meet this competency. You may explore some additional simulation products for this assignment that may use queries.

VI.1 – New assignments were provided which are not indicative of leadership skills. (creating an organization chart). Assignment addressing communication between an MD and the HIM Director, is important, but not addressing leadership skills. Provide assignments that reflect the demonstration of fundamental leadership skills.
