June 2017 Accreditation Action: Accept the Progress Report.
Rationale: The program is compliant with all Standards.
Accreditation Award: Continuing Accreditation.
November 2016 Accreditation Action: Grant ten years of Initial Accreditation with a Progress Report. The following Standards are Partially Met:
Standard 2. Responsibilities. The move of this Health Informatics Program from HRSM to the College of Engineering and Computing has not yet occured.
Standard 9. Program-Specific Curriculum. The program has provided evidence that suppports addressing curriculum content items that were deemed to be not met. In addition, an action plan to develop content addressing the partially met content items has been provided. The program is adequately making progress to address areas identified in the peer review process to be in need of improvement.
Standard 13. Program Director. The program has requested of the Dean an internship director position which has been advertised, to assist the program director as the health informatics programs grows. A position description has been provided.
Standard 16. Resources and Services. The issues cited have been presented to administration and await final decisions.
